Our Rules and Expectations

Shared Expectations

In sober living, it is important to be accountable as you work on an approved program for sobriety, make friends in the home and give and receive peer support to and from others who are also on the same journey.  Therefore we have strict house rules that are enforced.

It is the policy of our homes to be good neighbors to those who live around us.  We expect all of our residents and staff to be courteous, friendly and responsive to our neighbor’s needs therefore no shouting, loud noise or music.  Quiet time is from 9pm to 7am.  Smoking is permitted in designated areas only and disposal of butts in approved containers only. Absolutely no cursing, lewd or racially offensive language is tolerated on the premises.

We expect our residents to hold down jobs and/or attend their IOP clinic programs. All residents help with chores around the house and yard, meal preparation, shopping, and attending mandatory house meetings as well as meeting with sponsors.  We conduct drug tests and alcohol screening upon entry into the house as well as regular random testing.  A positive test is grounds for immediate discharge and your emergency contact will be notified.
